TERMS
Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 November 2026 · Operated by Anitaben Wankhede at orbit-gs0d.onrender.com
These terms are the agreement between you and Anitaben Wankhede ("we", "Orbit") for using the Orbit website and app. By creating an account or paying for a plan you accept them.
1. What Orbit is
Orbit is an interactive study companion. It builds a learning path for a skill, then teaches you one small step at a time and assesses your answers. It is an educational tool, not an accredited school, board, university or employer, and it does not issue certificates or grades that any institution recognises.
2. Your account
- One learner per account. Do not share your password or let others use your account.
- Keep your email address correct — plan and refund requests are handled only for the registered address.
- You are responsible for everything done under your account. Tell us immediately at vankhederamesh909@gmail.com if you think someone else can sign in as you.
- Learners under 18 need a parent or guardian's consent.
3. Free plan and paid plans
- The free plan gives you 1 new skill per month plus a capped number of tutor requests and learning-path generations each day. Starting a skill needs a free signed-in account, because the allowance is counted on the account rather than on a browser. The limits are shown on the pricing page.
- Free trial. Every new signed-in account starts with 30 days of Pro at no cost, without a card and without you having to cancel anything later. The trial is once per account: opening another account to repeat it is a breach of the fair-use clause below. It never converts into a paid plan by itself — on day 31 the account returns to the free plan described above, keeping every skill, path and record you already have.
- A paid plan keeps the same tutor, lifts the monthly skill cap entirely and removes most of the daily cap, so you can start as many skills as you want and study many more topics in a day. Plans are monthly or yearly.
- There is no automatic renewal. A monthly or yearly plan is a single payment that unlocks access for 30 or 365 days from the payment date. When it expires you simply move back to the free plan until you buy again — the skills you already started stay open to you, only a new skill needs one of your monthly free slots. We will not charge you a second time on our own.
- Prices are in Indian rupees. The amount on the pricing page is the exact amount charged; we do not add a separate subscription fee at checkout.
- We may change prices in future. A change never affects a period you have already paid for.
4. Fair use
Per-day and per-month limits exist because every AI request costs us money. Please do not try to bypass them — for example by scripting many accounts, replaying requests from a bot, or reselling tutor access. If we see abuse of the free plan we may limit or stop that account, and we will tell you why.
5. What you must not do
- Use Orbit to generate unlawful content, or content that harasses, defames or sexually exploits anyone.
- Try to break into the service, scan or overload the API, or read other learners' data.
- Scrape lesson content or the app itself at scale, or resell access.
- Impersonate another person, or create an account with someone else's email.
- Reverse engineer the Android app or remove our notices from it.
6. AI answers: please verify important things
Tutor replies are generated by a language model. They are usually helpful and are sometimes wrong, out of date, or confidently incorrect. Orbit is a study aid: verify anything material — code you plan to run in production, medical, legal, tax or financial information, exam syllabus details — against an authoritative source. Never rely on Orbit for safety-critical decisions.
When you ask the tutor to review your code, it reads the text you pasted and reasons about it. It does not execute your code, so it cannot promise that your program runs.
7. Content and ownership
The Orbit name, interface, app and software belong to us. Your learning data belongs to you — see the privacy policy. You may keep and use the notes and explanations generated during your lessons for your own study and work.
8. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Orbit running but do not promise uninterrupted service; models, limits and features may change. If we ever shut the service down we will give notice in the app, and anyone still inside a paid period at that point will be treated fairly under the refund policy then in force.
9. Liability
Orbit is provided "as is". To the maximum extent allowed by Indian law, we are not liable for losses arising from study results, exam outcomes, career decisions, data you store elsewhere, or an AI reply you relied on without checking. If we are liable for anything under these terms, our total responsibility for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim, and we never accept liability for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits rights you cannot legally give up, including consumer rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
10. Suspension and termination
You can stop using Orbit at any time and ask us to delete your account. We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, that is used to abuse the free plan, or that we are legally required to close. Where an active paid period remains after a closure caused by us, we refund the unused portion pro rata.
11. Governing law
Indian law applies, and the courts at our registered address (see the contact page) have jurisdiction.
12. Questions
